She has lived in different parts of the world, which has consequently affected her artistic view on life, race, and culture. Etta’s inspiration is primarily due to her relationship, eternal love, and inspiring freedom that comes from Jesus Christ. Her interpretations of spirituality, love, nature, pain, joy, and love of all people are expressed mainly using acrylic and oil pastels captured in abstract styles.
